At Savvy Vitality, we aren’t interested in the latest “hack,” the 21-day fix, or the obsession with weighing and measuring every morsel of food. We believe that for women navigating midlife, health isn’t a math equation—it’s a restoration of trust.
The modern wellness industry is loud, but it is often shallow. We’ve seen the rise of “expert” advice that lacks a foundation, pushing restriction and willpower as the only paths to success. We take a different stand.
1. Knowledge over Apps You shouldn’t need a phone or a scale to tell you if you’ve had a “good” day. We believe in getting back to the basics of natural nutrition. Our mission is to give you the clinical understanding of how your body works so you can stop checking an app and start trusting your plate.
2. Cooperation over Conflict Many women spend years fighting their bodies, especially as they change in their 40s and 50s. We believe in a “Somatic” approach—learning to work with the body you have today. Whether through nutritional support or the quiet mindfulness of yoga, the goal is to stop the war and start the partnership.
3. Progress over Perfection Real life is rarely linear. It’s a process of small, incremental changes. Better sleep, a more resilient gut, and managed stress are not “all-or-nothing” goals; they are the results of persistent, savvy choices. We don’t do “quick,” but we do do “lasting.”
Savvy Vitality was founded by Lisa Corkum to bridge the gap between academic study and the lived reality of midlife. Every program and resource we offer is filtered through a rigorous professional lens:
Integrity: Our nutritional foundations are built on years of academic study in Natural Nutirtion and Licensed Health Coaching standards (LHC™). We value the science of gut health and metabolic stability over social media trends.
Integrated Mindfulness: Beyond just physical “asana,” we incorporate the deeper roots of yoga—meditation, intuition, and mindfulness. These are not “bonuses”; they are the tools that help make lifestyle changes stick.
Lived Experience: Our work is informed by the reality of navigating chronic health challenges. We know that energy isn’t always a guarantee, and our methods are designed for the “real-world” days where you need a reset, not a struggle.
We are here for the woman who is done with the “diet” roller coaster and ready for a more sophisticated, grounded way to live.
Lisa created Savvy Vitality after years of academic study and a personal journey navigating a rare, progressive genetic condition (Fabry Disease). Her experience with fatigue, pain and gut health challenges drove her to find ways to navigate a body that doesn’t play by the rules.
As a CPC, LHC™, and RYT-200, Lisa’s role is to bridge the gap between nutrition and the mindset shifts required for lasting change. She values results, clarity, and the belief that while health is simple, it isn’t always easy.
Lisa can be found kayaking and hiking with her husband in the summer, or hibernating (at least attempting to) with a cup of tea, a cat, a good book or a movie during the Canadian winters.
