Many of us think that if we only had more “willpower” or found the right diet we would be successful. That keeps us constantly searching for the next quick fix promise. What if by changing your mindset, and changing what you eat (while still enjoying your food), you never felt enticed by the next “fad” again?
With regular coaching and tools, you will quickly build habits that will set you up for success!
I’m Lisa Corkum, I offer health coaching and life coaching for women who are looking to make changes that last. I am a CPC, LHC™, and the founder/creator of Savvy Vitality Coaching and The Savvy Method.

If you have been on the diet roller coaster or tried making changes only to find yourself back where you started and feeling like you are never going to reach your goals, then you are in the right place.
This education and experience has given me the expertise to help you discover a personalized plan for success and lifestyle change, including:
You may not understand, yet, what some of this has to do with reaching or maintaining your healthy weight. The simple answer is that everything is connected, it is a holistic approach.
I know that there is a shift that needs to happen on a foundational level. Restriction, deprivation, denial, and relying on willpower is a recipe that creates failure. I believe you know that, and that is how you found yourself here, it’s not your fault that you tried all these tactics. Our culture has inundated us for years with new “diets”.I want you to embrace yourself where you are now.
A decision that it’s time to make changes is the first step, it can happen as soon as your next meal. You don’t have to wait for Monday, or the weekend, or the first of the month.
Motivation and accountability come from knowing, and remembering, why you are making changes. This is what makes it stick.
If you’re looking for quick-fix health coaching, you won’t find it here.
I want things done now, I am not a patient person. I want to see the results yesterday.
Alas, I know that there are no potions or magic that will do things for me (oh, but wouldn’t that be nice!). And you know it too, even though (if you are like me) you still are hopeful that there is a hack or a shortcut to whatever the thing is, only to realize… yet again…that there isn’t.
I get it, I suffered from IBS and eczema for years, before I realized that it was largely linked to food, I also have a rare disease that contributes to it, but that is a story for another day. Once I changed my eating habits the IBS symptoms cleared up, and eczema faded away. I still have the occasional flare, but I now understand what I need to do, or what I may have been neglecting.
You have to be persistent and patient (I know this to be true, but I don’t like it, I get it if you feel this way too!).
The health coaching programs found here are based on helping you eat savvy, live savvy, and be savvy.

In warm weather, I can usually be found Kayaking, Camping, and Hiking with my husband. When the winter comes (or even a colder than usual spring), I am usually found attempting to hibernate inside where it’s warm with Netflix, Prime Video, or a good book, the hubby, my cat, and always a cup of tea.
